What are smart films?
Smart Films (also known as privacy films or PDLC films) are an innovative privacy technology that allows glass to switch from clear to frosted at the push of a button.
These films are made of Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) layers and can be applied directly onto existing glass surfaces as an adhesive sheet. When powered on, the liquid crystal particles align, allowing light to pass through and making the glass transparent. When powered off, the particles scatter, blocking light and turning the glass opaque, providing instant privacy.
